Every now and then you stay in accommodation that makes you wish you were able to live in permanently, and consider redecorating your own house. This is one of those places. The owners have exquisite taste in terms of decor, and at the same time have created a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Small details (you can try their impressive tea collection and enjoy the equally impressive record and CD collection) make this so much more than just another hotel/apartment. The staff in the cafe downstairs are very friendly, and for a drink and something light to eat I would not bother going anywhere else. Vianden is a lovely town to walk around, visit the castle or do a bit of hiking.

Youth Hostel er til húsa í hefðbundnu húsi og býður upp á svefnsali með sameiginlegum baðherbergjum og ókeypis WiFi. The people who work here are lovely!! They truely care about your stay and me and my partner had the best time! Definitely recomend to anyone who loves walking.

Vianden Cottage - Charming Cottage in the Forest er með verönd og er staðsett í Vianden, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Vianden-stólalyftunni og í 1 km fjarlægð frá Victor Hugo-safninu. As soon as Glen stepped out of his car and greeted us (including our dog), we knew that the weekend couldn't go wrong! He gave us a guided tour inside the cozy cottage, literally in the middle of forest, yet still close enough to the village down the hill. We ordered some BBQ-ready food from Glen and oh, it was so delicious! The deck is covered, so you can BBQ even when it rains. The cottage is decorated with a lot of personal touch and it makes it very homy. In the morning, we could see squirrels and birds out of the windows. We are already planning to come back in the summertime!
