What a fantastic place in Nilaveli! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at C Beyond. Our room was beautiful and our bed was comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the sea and a breezy balcony to enjoy. Staff were very attentive and always helpful, and arranged a lovely snorkeling experience for us. The location is right on the beach, very quiet and with no one around — it felt like our own private beach! We ate dinner at the hotel twice, both times in a romantic candle-lit outdoor setting, and it was delicious, with fresh local ingredients and excellent service by staff. The location is quite far from town, which made it a lovely place to retreat and be in nature for a few days.

When we got back to resort, owner organized for us transport to hospital in 5 min.He came along with us, had already informed the hospital of our situation. We got to see a doctor straight away, not a wanting a minute. Our child got quick treatment and everything is ok with her now! Host at resort got also lots of local connections with sea-sport activities and whale watching tours and so on. As well he is a very good cook and making fabulous food! Lovely clean spacious room very close to a beautiful, quiet beach. Staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Little cabanas on the beach wereperfect for relaxing in the shade with a beautiful view. We only ate breakfast here but the food was great and delivered to our room. The only downside is that the beach has a lot of litter further up. They clean around the hotel, so the view is unspoilt, but a shame the other hotels don’t do the same and take more care of the beach and our planet.

Offering a year-round outdoor swimming pool and views of the sea, Amanta Beach is set in Nilaveli, 20 km from Trincomalee. Each air-conditioned room offers a view. Rooms have a private bathroom. We stayed at Amanta Beach Resort for two nights and wished we would have stayed for a week! The property is beautiful and private but close enough to Nilaveli & Trinco that you could take a Tuk Tuk if you needed to. The rooms were spotless, beautiful, and everything worked perfectly (including the air con). As previous reviewers have said, the beach is your own little private slice of paradise. We were there a few weeks before the heavy season, so the seas were a bit rough, but we spent many hours lounging in the chairs on the sand! The food was amazing too! We had dinner one night and it was one of the best meals that we've had on our year abroad. The owner/chef comes out and explains everything and tells you where he got the ingredients from (mostly his on-site garden). Shyakthi and his staff make this place what it is! They all go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying yourself and that you're comfortable. They put a lot of time and energy into the entire experience and it shows. There is a reason this hotel is rated 9+ on Booking and you should definitely come see for yourself!
