The manager of the resort was amazing. He sent for a bottle of wine and beer for us for our meals at the resort. Room was so comfortable, bed and pillows were perfect. Bathroom was clean. Pool was so nice. Very close to the entrance to the park although we saw few animals the day we went. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner at the restaurant. Wonderful meals..resort is only 1 year old. Would definitely stay here again!

This was one of our favourite places we stayed on our entire trip! The cabins are extremely comfortable and have beautiful views of the river, we loved spending our evenings sat on our balcony watching the birds and monkeys. The host is extremely helpful, make sure you book a safari through him! Food was also fantastic.

Las habitaciones muy amplias y limpísimas. La wifi funcionaba muy bien y la piscina y todo el jardín limpísimo. Vale la pena quedarse más de un día solo para disfrutar de la tranquilidad del hotel. Te organizan el safari al precio standard, pero no hay compromiso alguno. También nos organizaron transporte a muy buen precio. El desayuno riquísimo. Sin duda el mejor alojamiento que hemos encontrado en 3 semanas en Sri Lanka.

Jungle Paradise está en Udawalawe, a 11 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, piscina al aire libre y jardín. Alojamiento precioso en un entorno maravilloso. Habitación enorme (más que una habitación resultó ser una villa a la que no le faltaba de nada). Personal tremendamente amable, sonriente y siempre dispuesto a ayudar y a hacer agradable la estancia. Cocina muy buena, desayuno estupendo. A escasos 10 minutos de la entrada al Parque Nacional de Udawalawe, donde se puede ir de safari (ellos mismos se encargaron de contratarnos la actividad). ¡Totalmente recomendable!

River View Safari Cottage. Está en Udawalawe, a 19 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

The resort's serene pool was a perfect spot to relax, and their organized safari tour was unforgettable. What impressed me most was the rate: the price of the room, food, and the safari tour were all very reasonable.

Group Safari Family Bungalow se encuentra en Udawalawe, a 17 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. We loved the homestay and felt really welcomed by the owner and his family. It's a nice place to stay for 2 nights to feel relaxed when roadtripping. We had the best driver for our 8 hour safari, enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and homemade sri lankan dinner. If you want to try a good Ayurvedic massage, ask for it though the owner and he will guide you to his friend, who offers the best treatment. Also a short visit to the elephant orphanage nearby was worth seeing, and you support the orginasation to continue the care taking. Loved this stay, and would come back!

Walawa Reach hotel se encuentra en Udawalawe, a 6,5 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y restaurante. One of the best stays in Sri Lanka. We got very spacious room - the whole challet just for us. It was very nice there. The swimming pool was just amazing. Everything is new and clean and the staff was super nice. They drove us from Ella for half of the price we were offered in Ella. The hotel is close to the national park, you can agree on the safari trip directly in the hotel and they come for you. They also arranged for us a taxi to Mirrisa and managed to rent a bigger car to travel with other travellers for lower price for us. The dinner was sri lankan average, but very big (three courses menu).

The staff was so kind and helpful. They arranged a 7 hour safari for me, with Amila. It was INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend paying the extra money for the longer safari, and if you can, book with Amila. He was so knowledgeable about the animals and birds and really took time out on roads in the national park with almost no other jeeps. The room was clean, the food was delicious, the setting was peaceful, and the grounds were lovely. What a great price for an great room!
