The ocean view was lovely, we stayed at 3rd floor and it was amazing! We totally recommend this hotel!

We loved everything about this hotel! As this is a small hotel (only 3 rooms), we were the only guests (we booked 2 rooms here). Everything looks like new, there’s a nice pool zone, you can reach beach on foot (takes less than 10 minutes). The staff was amazing and we couldn’t imagine a better service. They prepared a lunch box for our 5AM Yala safari tour. We also had lunch and dinner here - the food was amazing and the portions were huge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who considers having a safari at Yala national park!

Amazing place with absolutely wonderful staff. We travelled a family with a little 1 year old and got lot's of help and attention. Really tasteful and delicious kitchen - actually the best we got on our 3 weeks tour around the island. Nice and warm pool and the place is next to a fantastic and secluded beach.

Situated in Tangalle, 200 metres from Tangalle Beach, Lagoon gate Tangalle Resort features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I was looking for a little bit of luxury for a couple night during my 3 month travel of Sri Lanka and this place was it! So happy I booked here. The room was stunning spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a real treat with a huge shower and hot water and so clean! Complimentary robes and slippers, a safe and fridge in the room, luxurious pillows and furnishings made you feel like you were staying in a 5* resort. The view from the room over the lagoon was so serene and idyllic. The pool was gorgeous to sit by during the day. The staff were incredible, so friendly and caring, from welcome drinks and conversation to being brought a coconut by the pool whilst relaxing. Room service is available with a nice selection of wines of offer. The food was lovely in their restaurant and again tip top customer service and all with a smile. You can tell the people that run this have a real passion for it and they do a brilliant job! When I come back to Sri Lanka I will 100% stay here again! Thank you again to the hosts!

We liked everything about our stay: location, breakfasts and tips from the owner about what to do in the neighborhood. You can go bird watching, go chill and swim in a reef- protected Harmony Beach. Overall amazing!
