Well situated in Galle, The Fort House offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This is a new hotel. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated and the hotel is centrally located, which makes getting around quite easy. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to accommodate requests and help out in exceptional circumstances. I’m forever grateful for the kindness of the entire Fort House team, particularly Sabrin. I’d definitely recommend booking in here and will be sure to stay here on any return visits to Galle.

Samodaya, the care taker cum manager took care of all the needs we wanted without a trouble. Breakfast was really good. More than what we expected. We met the owners as well. Very humble and polite. Very reasonable with the price as well. Overall, very good place to stay, work, or leisure. Highly recommend place.

In the hotel, there are rabbits and it is especially cute how you can feed them. There also different animals like lizards and monkeys. In this hotel there is also a big pool, plenty of nature and delicious food and kind service. In every room there is an air conditioner and fan to keep comfortable temperature. Overall it is a great place to rest! If you want to go swim you have to walk or you can go by tuk tuk 🛺. The beach is clean and the water is warm, plus you can sometimes see turtles and crabs.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, offering complimentary delicious fruit snacks and fresh juices each night. The cosy and comfortable atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment, and the hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the fort and nearby beach. I can't express enough how satisfied I was with my stay. Thank you, Merchant Hotel, for creating the best memory of my Sri Lankan trip. Highly recommended!

Nice and clean ocean coast. Bustling but not crowded place with friendly local people. Beutiful nature and many animals. The nearby Galle and the White tea plantation are unmissable.

Unawatuna is a favorite destination for young people and families. Almost every night there is a party somewhere. Many bar's, restaurant's. A lot of things can be done: diving, snorkeling, jet ski, massage (Sanctuary Spa!), yoga. Galle city is very close easy to reach with tuk-tuk or local bus. Galle Fort is the old part of the city with many buildings of Dutch vintage. Cozy streets with museums, restaurants, bars, shops. From Unawatuna it is worth to do nearby excursions because there are many attractions: Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa beach, Meetiyagoda (Moonstone mine) Tewatta (Cunami museum), Wijaya beach, Weligama, Mirissa.

Éjszakánként akár HUF 35 800-értAz apartman Galle nyugodt részén található. Csöndes, jól lehet pihenni. Külön tetszett, hogy az apartmanházat elől-hátul portás figyelte. A part kis gyermekekkel nagyon jó mivel nincsenek sokan a parton, pár méterre kisebb hullámos partrészt találtunk. Az Unawutai strandra 1500 rúpiáért elvitt a tuk-tuk. Az étteremben finomakat ettünk. A tulajdonos figyelmes volt, segített ha szükségünk volt rá. Azt is megengedte, hogy előbb elfoglaljuk az apartmant. Távozáskor ajándékot kaptunk a tulajdonostól.

Éjszakánként akár HUF 9 835-értA házigazda nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. Nekem tetszett az elhelyezkedés a szállás kivitelezése, a medence. Mindenben igyekeztek kiszolgálni pl volt több szobája lehetett választani felár nélkül. Minden volt a közelben ha először jössz Srí Lankara nyugodtan hagyatkoz a házigazda ötleteire az árai is jók voltak. Csak javasolni tudom biztosan visszatérünk még. Élveztük a tenger hullámait és a hangját. Ha úszni szeretnél jungle beach és Gallé. Ezeket mindenképp javaslom.

Halk, nem hallani az utca zaját ha be van csukva az ajtó. A szobában légkondi működik. Motorral könnyen elérhető néhány étterem és Galle óvárosa is. 2 éjszakát foglaltunk itt és mindennel elégedettek voltunk. 🥰☺️🙏

The room was just beauuuuuuuuutifullllllllllll! the design and finish is so amazing. Such a nice color palette for the room we absolutely loved it. The staff is soooooooo warm and welcoming. The initial welcome felt like we were royalty. They handed us some local sweets followed by wet towels and welcome drinks. The staff engaged with us with a lot of warmth. The value for money is excellent. The breakfast lay out is beautiful with good taste and a huge variety. The resort design is amazing with a lot of local and Dutch design elements. The pools were warm and felt just right. Overall we really really enjoyed our stay there.

The most relaxing place you can imagine. The hotel is part of the beach. There were 3 giant turtles that swam up to the sand to be fed, every day by people who stayed at the hotel. You have the option of going into the sea, staying by the beautiful pool or relaxing by the bar. The staff were fantastic including: Asintha, Janicka, Viraj, Fernando, Dinushka and Danushka. Lanksha who cleaned our room as brilliant. The room was always tidy and he made lovely towel sculptures for us. (mermaids, turtles and swans included!) Food options were great for all taste buds. Classic Sri Lankan food, Indian cuisine and general pan Asian options. Fish restaurant in the hotel offered fresh fish. The cocktails were very nice as well. This felt like a luxury holiday without the luxury price.

Loved the view from the balcony and the scenery from the beach. The rooms were really clean and tidy and we loved spending quality time in the pool. We loved the entertainment at night.( the live show was perfect for the night stay) . For dinner we ate from the restaurant and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was amazing and we loved the two sides of Srilankan and English breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay in the Citrus Hotel and we will definitely come back. We loved Angel Beach , stayed there for 3 nights and fully enjoyed the relaxed beach vibe on comfortable sun beds for nearly 4 days. The beach is unreal > honestly one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches I have ever seen in the world !! Sea was quite wavy when we were there but still managed to walk on the beach for around 15min to reach turtle beach (much more populated !) and see a big turtle !!! Breakfast (fresh fruit, juice, croissant, eggs etc.) and lunch on the beach and dinner we would go into Unawatuna or Galle towns which both are really nice to visit! We also went for a surf lesson in a nearby spot (we got picked up from the hotel) Only 12 rooms in the property - many people visit the property for the day as it is really the best beach club in the area !
