Had a great time and there are some good surf spots nearby, but without being in the bustle of A Bay. Would highly recommend, especially for couples and small groups that would prefer a more relaxed experience on this coast. Definitely will go back

Very close to the beach and various restaurants and bars. the beautiful garden is very quiet and the rooms very comfortable and clean (with nice shower and working AC!). but the best part is definitely the owner Kayum (nickname crocodile), a special person, super helpful and very nice and the best smile. He helped me with everything and also organized great safaris in Yala and in the lagoon. the breakfast is delicious, the best avocado toast I had in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, it just feels like home. Garden Beach Hotel is the place to be. Grazie Crocodile, you have a place in my heart!
