The views from the hotel and from our room of Fuji were amazing. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony and also really enjoyed the breakfast during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the free bike hire (which were electric) to cycle around the lake.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko, 15 miles from Lake Kawaguchi, 本栖湖畔 浩庵 Kouan at Lake Motosu features a spa & wellness center and views of the lake. The best thing we loved about the hotel was the view of the beautiful Mt Fuji from the room. The premium we paid was worth the view! The staff was very friendly and caring. Some of them can communicate in English but keep the translator app handy. We went for a day hike and informed the front office about our plans and one person provided us with a map and explained about the area well and what to watch out for, which we found very generous of them. The room was moderately spacious, and we loved the Japanese The property is 5km away from the bus stop. However, the host helped us with dropping off to the bus stop in the morning when we had to catch the bus to the town ,Kawaguchiko. In the evening, we walked 1 hr back to the hotel, enjoying the lake and mountain view.

As before, on our first visit here, the staff was SO kind to us and our dog. The breakfast is amazing and there are so many things to do in this part of Yamanashi. Having an onsen in the hotel is so nice after a day of hiking. Uchu brewing down the hill is a perk as well...

The local breakfast was good, including the Yamanashi local specialty houtou. The room was clean and comfortable. Good soundproofing. The free amenities, such as skin care set, were also good quality. The free shuttle to and from the train stations runs all-day and is very convenient. We went to Fuji-Q Highland and didn't have to spend money on parking there. The hotel lobby has nice luggage lockers.

Very good value for money. Great location, not far from station and Maizuru Castle. Clean, nice room with big windows, cosy shared kitchen. Air conditioner worked perfectly. We didn't meet staff in person, but during our stay they arranged a nice opportunity for hotel guests to buy delicious Yamanashi peaches for a good price.

The property was under construction and we were told we would have no view and ended up on the 7th floor with one night full view of Fuji with a huge room. The space was enormous. Bigger than most US hotels and the staff helped ship us luggage we left that was very important to us. We ended up having the Japanese meal there which was amazing.

Unexpected Fuji Mountain view that didn't show when book, room price is comparative low then I accepted no view BUT, Fuji MT amazingly in front of me through the wide balcony (Not all room have direct Fuji Mt view but at least the location can see beautiful Mt view). Night private BBQ was good experience, food quality was good too. Must visit next time
