The owner of the hotel is a very nice and very helpful. I can see the beatiful view of the mountain from the window of the hotel. The private onsen is very impressive. I got lost because my GPS doesn't work and I got there late at night. Fortunately, I brought the phone number and the name of the hotel in Japanese. The owner is so nice to come to pick me up and take me to the hotel safely.

Superb service from the staff, especially Ms Yen and Ms Chabani Gopali and the chefs who made us two delicious dinners/breakfast the two nights we were there. Good onsen baths and good fun in the "walking" onsen and outdoor warm pools. Cabin was spacious and very comfortable. A big thank you for a very relaxing stay.

Well set in the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, 湯布院 おやど花の湯yufuin oyado hananoyu is located 29 miles from Oita Bank Dome, 1.7 miles from Kinrinko Lake and 20 miles from Beppu Station. My husband & I enjoyed everything here. It was located not far from town, it is more convenient if you rented a car here if stay at this ryokan. It is spacious for a small family of 3 like us and the private onsen is a bonus, you can choose to soak in anytime u want.

When I returned to the hotel, I could not enter the room and understood the situation, but the hotel staff smiled and held the room for me and gave me the left luggage. Conveniently located at the Oita Station, we thought it was a great stay. The hotel lobby is on the 8th floor of the AMU Building (department store). If you are traveling by train or bus, we highly recommend! Convenient stores like Lawson and breakfast places like Mr. Donut are nearby. Staff were friendly and we would come back there again.

SpaGreeness is a retreat. It is a place where you can totally relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings. My family of 6 stayed in the cottage “Mori” and we were given an attached bedroom with a double bed next to the main living quarters. The cottage is clean and huge and is very comfortable for the 6 of us. There were 2 onsens at the basement of our room. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff were very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!

Unfortunately their dinner service was out of our budget, so we got food from outside before arrival (there are literally no restaurants within walkable distance, so please get something before you arrive, from Beppu Station for example). You can take the bus here from Beppu Station and it's a small uphill walk. Breakfast was amazing, however! I really enjoyed the seasonal veggies and the local ingredients. The onsen in the room was wonderful and there's plenty of amenities to use (make up remover, lotions, facial cottons, hair tie, too!) There's chopsticks, plates and forks and wine glasses in the room btw.
