Centrally located in Hirafu's Upper Village, boutique hotel Chalet Ivy Hirafu offers natural hot spring baths and delicately prepared Japanese cuisine. One of the TVs was broken when we checked in. We didn’t think it was a big problem. Then the other day the hotel manager came to apologise with a champagne, a bottle of juice for my kid and a plate of fruits. The staff in the SKII concierge was also very flexible in terms of bus transportation. I would strongly recommend this place to my friends.

The rooms were spacious and private, breakfast offering was great and diverse, the onsens are amazing and have both indoor and outdoor baths. The massages were very relaxing. The hotel offers shuttle buses each day to and from popular ski and town locations. Ski hire can be booked through the hotel and delivered to the hotel ski lockers which made things a lot easier.

Absolutely outstanding and elegant. The multicourse Japanese dinner and breakfast included in the hotel were top notch and a real pleasure to enjoy before and after skiing. The onsen was immaculate and so refreshing, including two heated outdoor mini pools with warm water even during falling snow. Truly surreal and even though it's expensive, I'd say it's completely worth the price. Thank you for a lovely time!

Ki Niseko was the perfect accommodation for us as a couple. Comfortable, quiet, clean and close to the ski lift. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
