We loved the location of the hotel, which was right next to the JR Kumamoto Station, making it very convenient to travel anywhere. There are also lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel is very lovely and we thought it was very good value compared with hotels in other cities eg. Fukuoka. The service is excellent and the hotel is very clean. The public bath was lovely too. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.

Beautifully appointed, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. Shopping, restaurants, late night scene, bus, train, and local sightseeing all within easy walking distance. I loved the huge window and the luxurious bench in front of it. Perfect for taking a rest after a busy day and watching the city life pass by. The open air bath on the 12th floor is what really sold me on the hotel, and it was perfect. The restaurant is also on the 12th floor, and provides a gorgeous panorama of the city and castle with massive windows spanning the entire walls.

The price was affordable for the range of services provided including a comprehensive breakfast and various smaller amenities including pajamas, toiletries, soaking salts, etc. Service was great and my room was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet despite being next to a busy commercial arcade. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again in the future.
