Spa area outside was great: two hot tubes and also amazing sauna (we Finns just absolutely love sauna and this little sauna stole our heart). Glass terrace is very nice too - we had sparkling wine there and enjoyed the views. Breakfast was very nice too!

It’s a beautiful small hotel with access to coffee machine all day and a dining area. Modern, very clean and delicious breakfast including waffle machine. Very close to Seljafoss.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. The location was wonderful, staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and the room was awesome.

Stylish interiors of the main building, cozy room with amazing view, two hot tubs. The stuff was very friendly and the breakfast was also good.

The family-owned Hótel Lækur is set on an Icelandic horse farm, between the Golden Circle and the south coast. Hella is 10 minutes’ drive away. It offers a sun terrace and a guest lounge. Superb location, away from all the lights, roads and noise. Staff is super friendly and helpful Food in general, dinner and breakfast, was very nice and regional - which we appreciate a lot. The rooms are super cosy, spacious and clean. It offers everything you need. We would and will book again when back in Iceland, and we will recommend it to friends, since we really experienced a great time there!

I loved absolutely everything about this manor. It was refined-country, cozy, crisp, and sophisticated-for-Iceland without being pretentious or minimalistic. Painted wooden panels, lush couches and beds that you sink into, spacious bathrooms. Beyond the decor being truly attractive, the staff was always smiling and helpful. After a freezing trip under the Seljalandsfoss waterfall's spray, I felt my extremities again in their clean sauna and further rejuvenated in the pool looking directly out into the landscape. Food was delicious with intriguing combinations of tastes. Parking was free and plentiful, access from the main road was simple, yet removed from the fray. I highly recommend this hotel/manor.

On top of that, we were able to relax in the beautiful hot tub and sauna after a long day full of great experiences. You have really created an exceptional place. Please cuddle the dogs for us - the two lovely souls who put a smile on our faces every day. We will miss you and wish you a wonderful Christmas with your family!

Located within 3 km of Kirkjugólf and Systrafoss twin waterfalls, Magma Hotel offers accommodation in Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Rooms are modern with Nordic design and free WiFi. Really nice accommodation and lake view. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was fabulous.
