Situated in Bray, 90 metres from Bray Beach, The Strand Hotel former Home of Oscar Wilde & Caffe Vergnano 1882 features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a bar. We loved the history of it - being Oscar Wildes home. We were in The Happy Prince room and it was so quaint. Very comfortable and clean. The location was excellent with reference to Dublin and with it being seaside.

Staff were brilliant.one of the best breakfast ever. Nice bar and sitting area. The room was comfortable and quiet, we could rest properly. We would definitely stay again when visiting family. The reception staff were very helpful as well as the porters. Parking area is very big.

Hard to single out a particular thing as our two day stay was thoroughly enjoyable. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The smell of burning wood from the open fire in the reception lounge. The outdoors hot tub is so enjoyable. Everything in the spa is spotless and very well maintained (swimming pools, sauna, steam room) and comfortable. We did not opt for the fine dining restaurant but enjoyed tasty light food in the confortable bar-lounge.

The staff was so nice, helpful with questions we had, shared personal stories with us, we felt very welcomed. Restaurants were within walking distance.
