Excalibur miniHotel ligger i Eger, mindre än 1 km från Eger-basilikan, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. Jag valde detta hotel så att vi kunde finna oss i stadens historiska anda. Har du barn ska du definitivt bo här. Ett plus att hotellet ligger i en fin fritidspark (Érsekkert). Lokaler och service påminner om gamla riddartider. Rymliga fina rum med sagolika dekorationer. Här har man inte missat en detalj. Personalen bar traditonella skjortor från riddartider, maten serverades på träbrickor, inga servetter! Drinkar från lerkrukaliknande muggar. Kul upplevelse var det! Promenadavstånd från det mesta. Parkering för rabatterat pris finns på närliggande hotel.

Nice welcome surprise made the first impression really nice. Staff was very friendly, service oriented and welcoming. Perfect location. The breakfast is really nice and well presented.

Offering on-site swimming pools, hot tub and saunas, Imola Hotel Platán is situated in the centre of Eger. It features a restaurant serving regional dégustation menus and a garden with terrace. The staff at the hotel is very caring and helpful. Everyone is working to make your stay as comfortable as they can (and I do mean everyone, from the receptionists, waitresses, the sommelier, the cooks in the kitchen). And they do it in a heartfelt, sincere, kind way. The wellness had everything we needed (sauna, jacuzzi, hot and cold water pools, solar beach room, hay therapy and salt room). Location is top-notch as the Eger spa is within walking distance and one can simply walk from the hotel directly to the spa. We really enjoyed breakfast (fresh bakery products and a good selection of options) and dinner (modern, well thought-out meals, very tasty I'd even say gourmet :) ). At last but not least, I'd give a shout to the wonderful musician who plays during dinner time, we liked it very much :).

Imola Udvarház Dessert Hotel ligger direkt under Eger-slottet i den historiska stadskärnan. Här erbjuds luftkonditionerade rum och en restaurang som serverar ungerska rätter. Imola Udvarház ligger i hjärtat av Eger, mitt framför fästningens stora port. Rummen vi bodde i var mycket rena, och hade en sammankopplad terass - i gammal ungersk bondestil - framför rummen där vi hade en bedårande utsikt över staden och fästningen. Frukosten var ypperlig med både varma och kalla rätter. Hotellets restaurang är en av Ungerns bäste restauranger, även omnämnd i Michelin guiden. OBS! Boka bord i god tid, även för en tisdag behövde vi boka en vecka i förväg! Den är värd, vi hade en jättefin gourmand upplevelse med ungersk - internationell fusion kök.

Surrounded by woodland, this extensive resort offers a spa with Finnish saunas, a coveredable open-air swimming pool, an indoor jakuzzi, a squash court, and free Wi-Fi. We booked this hotel as part of our road trip in Hungary and were very happy with our choice. The communication with the hotel was great and smooth. I asked them to prepare a bottle of wine as a birthday gift and they did great with that including adding a note. Both breakfast and dinner were great, the wellness area was also great and there were many other activities at the hotel which made our stay more fun. The room was spacious and the location was also nice, very close to the natural park. Overall it was a great stay.

Really well equipped for kids, the Africa theme is really nice, loved the Meerkats in the hotel. Great outdoor animals and play areas....huge labyrinth was a lot of fun. My five used the spa twice and really liked it. Pool bar food is really good. Staff were friendly and remembered my room number.

Hotel Ózon & Luxury Villas is a 4-star superior hotel set in the Mátra mountain range, surrounded by the Mátra National Preserve. Great location and beautiful view from the room if you take the panorama view. The spa is well designed and clean with beautiful amenities. The staff is professional, competent and pleasant. The food at dinner was good and the breakfast delicious. The possibility to continue enjoying the spa after checkout is most appreciated. It was a great weekend escape.
