Hotel Kosta Famissi is situated in Kalambaka’s entrance, only 1 km from Meteora and the monasteries. It offers classic rooms, most with stunning views of the rocks. The hotel was elegantly designed, with big reception. What fascinated me so much is that my room was big with great view of the rock mountain. The location of the hotelnis near the train station, only a few minutes walk, very near in the town, restaurants. The reception even recommended a resto serving Greek cuisine. The breakfast is great. They even allow me to leave my baggage in the hotel reception after checkout since I still have time to explore the village before going back to Athens.

Ziogas Rooms is located in the traditional village of Kastraki, surrounded by the rocks of Meteora. All rooms have a balcony, with stunning area views. There is free Wi-Fi and parking. I loved the family atmosphere at the hotel, the husband and wife in charge are so lovely and will help you out with any request as best they can. It’s one of the furthest stays from the train station BUT one of the closest to the Monasteries. I did a couple of the guided tours and thoroughly enjoyed the fact that I could sleep that extra 30-40mins more as I was the last to be picked up on the way Meteora.

Along with amazing views of the Meteora, Hotel Doupiani House features cozy and well-furnished rooms with free WiFi. The Monastery of Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas is just steps away. It`s an excellent place to stay. Great location and view. Breakfast was amazing and really a great experience.

The entire house is stylishly decorated with a design that truly captivates the heart. Everything was superb, and I will always fondly remember our stay at this wonderful hotel.
