Situated in Shrewsbury, 15 km from Ironbridge Gorge, Riverside Inn by Chef & Brewer Collection features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. My partner and I stayed at the Riverside Inn the night before my brother's wedding at a venue nearby. The room was gorgeous and cosy, with lovely views of the river. What really made the stay even more special was how helpful the staff are. The morning of the wedding was full of mishaps, from not being able to get a taxi to my partner locking himself out of the room just before he had to leave for the ceremony! The Riverside Inn staff took it all in their stride and were so kind and helpful. Special thanks to David, who organised a locksmith and then drove my partner's things to the venue once he'd managed to get into the room! I cannot recommend them enough and would love to stay again some day.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Hawkstone Hall Hotel & Gardens is set in Shrewsbury, 24 km from Shrewsbury Cathedral. Magnificient Country Hotel.. Hotel immaculate and excellent facilities. Beautiful manicured gardens. Food was amazing and staff could not do enough for us. Room really comfortable with wet room. A rural retreat! Will definitely visit again.

The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and every single member of staff was polite helpful and a joy to interact with. We were there for a birthday and they could not have done enough for us .

Fantastic location, grounds a little over grown but beautiful. Hall superb with huge ornate chandeliers, bedrooms palatial including the bathroom. Staff friendly and polite, dinner was superb and breakfast had a large choice of edibles.
