Situated above its own terraced gardens, The Glenburn Hotel is a Victorian sandstone building which offers panoramic views across Rothesay Bay to the Cowal Peninsula. Lovely old building. Showing its age in some areas but it's a beautiful hotel. My room was so comfortable and well appointed with a garden view. I tried various menu items and all were delicious. The staff are exceptional, friendly welcoming and efficient. I somehow ended up with another guests food and drink on my room tab but it was sorted out with no drama at all. Overall a wonderful stay

Our stay was beyond our expectations! We were received with great kindness by the hotel managers and were able to enjoy the idyllic setting thanks to the incredible view from the hotel. Everything. The place itself, a gorgeous old house with these beautiful large windows on the best view ever. The room was large and super cosy, one of the most comfy bed I've ever slept on. Kristine was super welcoming and the breakfast was an absolute 10/10 - with a view to die for. Honestly blown away, especially for that price ! I travel a lot and stay in many different hotels and B&B but this one is definitely my "coup de cœur" of this year.
