Beautiful building retaining many of the original features with stunning views across the Menai Strait to Gwynedd - a quick stroll to the castle, gaol and sea front
Great location, spacious rooms, splendid breakfast, and the nicest of staff.
Such a lovely welcome! The room was cosy and had excellent facilities. I particularly liked the little touches that made it so cosy like the salt lamp and doggy doorstop. Breakfast was amazing with a beautifully presented buffet and very tasty hot breakfast. I'm coeliac and would highly recommend to any other coeliacs for a great meal. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there and I even got to meet Flash the dog who was as friendly as his owners. Lovely to meet you all, I'll definitely be back and have recommended you to friends already.
Love the Hot Tub. Wish there was more availability in Salon. Restaurant excellent and dog friendly spaces excellent. Dim lights a little though in the Bar.
Comfort and style of the room. Staff super diligent and caring.
Breakfast was good. Location was excellent. Front desk staff was amazing!!! Cleaning staff were happy and always offering a polite "good morning "
Loved the location, old but clean,
Great location in the heart of town . Staff really helpful , friendly and cheerful.
I could not recommend this property highly enough, although old it’s in remarkably good condition and any thing it lacks the staff more than make up for it.. I try not to leave reviews but when the reminder arrived in my inbox from booking.com I couldn’t respond quickly enough, I’ve stayed in different properties in Llandudno but this one is by far the most hospitable and tremendously good value ( get the buffet breakfast for the extra cost).. well worth it.
Loved everything staff were lovely one or two at breakfast came across a bit off when we moved tables but then we should have asked 🤔
Absolutely fantastic I couldn't fault anything
Very well run hotel. Food was excellent and the interiors were well decorated and clean. Information was clear and parking was easy.
Location for centre of old city is very good. Staffs are very kind and friendly.
amazing atmosphere, first class food, beautiful grounds.
We could not have wanted for anything more. Robin and Jane were extremely accommodating, we had our dogs with us who loved the place and the grounds. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they were the perfect hosts. Their passion for hospitality and clearly for amazing food was clear to see. Also to reiterate... the food was amazing.
Room was comfortable with added extras like hairdryer. We were upgraded from a single to a twin with sea view. Very happy and excellent value
All wonderful. Our room had a panoramic view but no balcony. Changing the windows so they slide down from the top to open and forming a secure railing is worth consideration. Otherwise a ceiling fan would be a cheaper but secondary option. I appreciate the middle window opens right up but I doubt that would gain bureaucrat approval today. With the glass balcony option more could be charged for the room to obtain a reasonably shorty payback period.
