We were made to fell most welcome, the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and the view was stunning. Will definitely return one day.

Dating from the 18th-century, the Allanton is charming coaching inn located in Berwickshire. Wow, what a gem of a find, in a beautiful area of the country. Room was lovely, clean, comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Met friends local to the area for dinner on the first night and the food was exceptional, a very good night had by all. Came down for breakfast the morning after and what a choice we had. Again food was exceptional, using local produce and homemade. Chose to have dinner on the second night also and was not disappointed. If we visit the area again we know where to book.
