Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace, Hotel Santa Fe offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast in Puerto Ayora. Malecon harbour is 30 metres away and Tortuga Bay beach is 2,5 km away. Wow! We loved our stay here, we were a group of 4 backpackers celebrating a 30th birthday and this hotel was perfect! The junior suite was gorgeous and the staff so lovely! They even gave our friend a personalized complimentary gift for her birthday! Great dinner and drinks recommendations also from the staff! The mini bar in the suite was also complimentary and had free tea and coffee by the pool! Also lovely breakfast! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Located on the Galapagos Islands, Galapagos Bed & Breakfast house is in Puerto Ayora. It is a 5-minute walk from the waterfront and offers rooms with a private balcony and hammock. Great place with very friendly and helpful host. Great breakfast

Set in Puerto Ayora, Torre Mar Galapagos features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Everything. The owner, John Garrete. has remodeled these suites with every Western style convenience. I was constantly amazed at how everything was so well done and thought out. John was such an incredible help in arranging our trips to Pinzon and Bartholomew. He went over and beyond to help us by loaning us wetsuits, masks and making sure we were happy.

Featuring an on-site snack bar and free organic coffe, Hotel Cucuve offers accommodation in Puerto Ayora. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. We had an excellent breakfast pack from them on our early morning excursion. Well presented and packed for us to eat as we got hungry on the boat trip. All were wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. 10/10 We were super happy with how they explained their commitment to being responsible towards nature and what they do to be actively involved. The info in the rooms was presented subtly, although not overwhelmingly. The free shopping bags and water bottles were a nice touch.

Semilla Verde Boutique Hotel gives its guests the real traditional guesthouse experience on Santa Cruz Island. It is located only a 12-minute drive from Puerto Ayora. If, at the end of your holiday in the Galapagos, you want one or two days of relaxation before flying out from Santa Cruz/Baltra Island, I would heartedly recommend this wonderful hotel up in the highlands of the island. Not only does it have giant tortoises ambling through its extensive gardens and grounds, but it is also a relaxing quiet place to stay, enjoy an alternative ecological environment and prepare for the next leg of your trip into Ecuador or return home. Katia, the hotel manager, was an excellent hostess, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed both immensely. As the hotel sits within a coffee plantation, the coffee is very 'local'. The small swimming pool was pleasant on a very hot afternoon.

Okay, so, I didn't actually end up staying in a room here—I had booked it in case I wasn't able to get to a different island that day, but I was able to get to the other island, so I was a no-show. But my interaction with the hotel staff and owner (I think) several days later when I stopped by to pay for my uncancelled room were so pleasant that I want to give them a rating. I had just arrived in town with my heavy bag, and one of the staff members graciously let me stow the bag in their locked office while I trekked to Tortuga Bay—Hotel Crossman is close to the entrance to the trail as well as the pier. I was hot and dehydrated when I returned, and the owner let me sit and drink my Gatorade in the hotel's lovely shaded common area and then gave me a ride all the way across town for only $1! So much hospitality and I wasn't even technically a guest. I hope I get the chance to stay at Hotel Crossman in the future.
