The room is very comfortable and the location is super. You just need 3 min to be in the city center and you can move arround very easy. The breakfast it was very good and with a lot of options I like that you can choose your eggs.

It was nice to talk with some of them during beer testing and I’m very thankful for help to send us some things we forgot in the room.

Surrounded by a romantic landscaped garden, Zamek Hradek is housed in a 17th-century chateau. Its restaurant serves classic Czech dishes and in the summer, guests can enjoy the summer terrace. This is such a magical real estate.. carefully restored castle with all the comfort required by today’s standards (bathrooms, heating, tv, fridge, light switches, sockets…) yet the rest left authentic (windows, furnishing) and the mix works - a least in our room (in the style of Louis XIV) and the common areas including the restaurant and an outside park. We spent 3 nights there including the New Year’s Eve, the latter in a company of a harp artist - again a very fitting choice of entertainment. The breakfast was great with sufficient choice and variety. The spa area seems brand new. We used it every day of our stay (after a long hike it was so relaxing). 11 out of 10 for this place. If I could afford it, I would have my wedding here :)

The location of the hotel is exceptional as it is just beside a very large park. The pool is very good. The fitness center is big and full of equipment. The air condition is very effective. The wifi is very good. The stuff is friendly. The breakfast was nice. One of the best hotels I have ever been in Europe.

Nice hotel, great location. Fly fishing a short walk from the hotel is as good as anywhere else on this part of the river (Otava 7-8). Friendly staff, good food and facilities.

We stay here 2 or 3 times a year. In the summer months, as well as the usual restaurant menu they have a BBQ on the terrace. Beds are always comfy with lovely bedding. Great breakfast.

Location is superb. Our room was spacious with an artistic picture of the Plzner Prazdroj factory --- just what we have arrived for :-) U Salzmannu is the oldest pub in the town offering the speciality: "tankowy pivo". This is a big beertank which has been refilled by a hose from a lorry. Worth trying. The kitchen is also recommended, with a terrace behind the building. It seemed that locals arrive in huge numbers as well. The breakfast was okay, although the coffee could be better, but price-quality-wise it is above average. The beds, linen were okay as well as the cleannes of the place (no one knows why but two of 8 towels were arbitrarily change during our stay). I recommend this place and Pilsen as a tourist attraction and not only for beer lovers.

Beautiful iconic hotel in the heart of Šumava National Park, directly in Modrava, virtually next to all major natural attractions of the Park. Delicious breakfast buffet (fresh bakery even on national holiday and in the heart of the National Park!), reasonably priced private sauna, free parking, helpful and nice staff,... 10/10!
