Featuring a bar and views of city, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo, 1.2 km from Praia Da Laginha. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. Location, amenities, room and staff were all perfect. Right across from a grocery store and near the market. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Mindelo is a nice walkable little town.

Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. the property is great: has several cozy terraces, is clean and small enough to feel personally cared for. The lovely owner and the staff went above and beyond to help us out with a flight issue, that we are beyond grateful for. A delicious breakfast too :)

Let me start by saying it has a great location at the Marina, with modern facilities. Everything is within walking distance. The ferry is across the street if you want to visit Santo Antao. If you want to go to Baia, Santo Pedro, or Cahau, you can rent a car for a day or take a taxi—there are many ways to get around. You feel safe here, and security is 24/7. Front desk: Very welcoming. Lauren was very professional and very helpful. Thank you, Lauren, for accommodating us. The room had a great view—Liz Melicilo was exceptional. She was very professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful. I can't forget the one who did my checkout—thank you! Rooms: The room was lovely, comfortable, and very clean. Its interior design is thoughtful, beautiful, and cozy. It was very spacious for us and had stunning views. Valina( from Spia) was pleasant and kept our room spotless. We had a problem with the air conditioner, but it was immediately fixed. Suggestion: A coffee maker/tea condiments in the room. Breakfast: A full continental breakfast buffet style (cachupa, scramble, fried, and boiled eggs, bread/toast, cereals, fruits, ham, cheese, yogurt, etc.).The team (Suzi, Leila, Raquel, and the one with the glasses) are friendly, pleasant, and professional. They kept everything clean and worked well together. Suzi makes an excellent coffee. Restaurant: The drinks were great, and the food was good. It offered a good menu and service with terrace seating. The waitresses are amiable (especially the one who accommodated my extended family with table sitting on my last night; I know your boss gave you a hard time (I noticed it), but you kept your head up and didn't let it bother you- Thank you for all you did. I know how hard you ladies worked. Suggestion: Extending the Bar hours, especially on Friday and Saturday. Pool: Stunning views.

Located in Mindelo, 700 metres from Praia Da Laginha, Blue Marlin Hotel features views of the sea. We had problems with the flight and they cancel the stay without any extra charges, really appreciated!

Aquiles Eco Hotel is located in São Pedro. The property is 30 meters from the beach and 7 km from Mindelo. WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a balcony. We loved the hotel, the location and the staff! The rooms are simple but efficient with a very eco-centred design, the breakfast was fresh and delicious and the location is a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The highlight was the super friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us and make our stay as amazing as possible - especially Stiven and the other receptionist (didn't catch his name). They make you feel so extremely welcome! Highly recommended for your stay in Sao Pedro!

Amazing staff and location, you are at walking distance of all the important points of the city The staff is always available to help. Very good breakfast. The restaurant downstair is a big bonus, with amazing music that plays between 20:00-22:00 and very good food.

Offering an outdoor pool, Oasis Porto Grande is located in Mindelo. At Oasis Porto Grande guests will find a fitness centre. The property is a 10-minute walk from the beach. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, especially Nilza. When flying from Fogo to Sao Vicente, the airline left all out luggage on Fogo. We were due to sail to Sao Anteo but decided to rearrange the ferry and stay in Porto Grande to try and let our luggage catch up with us. There were 8 of us and we only booked in on the day of our stay. They were not phased when we arrived with only the grubby clothes that we stood up in and Nilza was very helpful. She liaised with the airline and airports to establish where our luggage was [getting further than we could] and arranged a large taxi for us all to have a happy reunion with the luggage that evening. Wiyhout hteir help the holiday would have been a lot more difficult.
