Located within less than 1 km of Diogo Alfonso Statue and 11 km of Monte Verde Natural Park, Casa da Djedja offers rooms in Mindelo. We especially loved the staff. They were soo helpful and friendly. We also loved the building and simple decor. Mindelo was great to go out at night.

Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. the property is great: has several cozy terraces, is clean and small enough to feel personally cared for. The lovely owner and the staff went above and beyond to help us out with a flight issue, that we are beyond grateful for. A delicious breakfast too :)

Situated in Mindelo, a few steps from Praia Da Laginha, Luna Boutique Hotel offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. We had a wonderful stay at Luna for a week. It's a perfect place to explore Mindelo. It's quiet because not fully in the center yet very close to the beach. The absolute highlight for us was the staff that cared extremely well for us while my wife was a bit sick -- it feels so good in those moment to be around nice and caring people. We will always come back to Luna if we get to Mindelo.

I truly loved everything thing about this hotel based on my experiences for all the others hotels i stayed at before this one is top its clean a cool place well located with amazing views from the varandas nice staffs well dressed with class

The hotel has an amazing architecture. We went in December, so it was super quiet. Steven and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic! They organized our stuff and luggage during room service! Expect African sightseeing views. The beach is 1 minute away and one of the best we visited - don’t forget to have a drink at the turtle bar, play some football with the fishermen, and to swim with the turtles!

Amazing staff and location, you are at walking distance of all the important points of the city The staff is always available to help. Very good breakfast. The restaurant downstair is a big bonus, with amazing music that plays between 20:00-22:00 and very good food.

Offering an outdoor pool, Oasis Porto Grande is located in Mindelo. At Oasis Porto Grande guests will find a fitness centre. The property is a 10-minute walk from the beach. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, especially Nilza. When flying from Fogo to Sao Vicente, the airline left all out luggage on Fogo. We were due to sail to Sao Anteo but decided to rearrange the ferry and stay in Porto Grande to try and let our luggage catch up with us. There were 8 of us and we only booked in on the day of our stay. They were not phased when we arrived with only the grubby clothes that we stood up in and Nilza was very helpful. She liaised with the airline and airports to establish where our luggage was [getting further than we could] and arranged a large taxi for us all to have a happy reunion with the luggage that evening. Wiyhout hteir help the holiday would have been a lot more difficult.
