Pestana Tropico Ocean & City Hotel se află în insula Santiago, pe malul oceanului și la numai 200 de metri de plaja principală a orașului. Our family sends a big thank you to the hotel for giving us such flexibility on our check out extension and for the understanding our situation. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food and Beverages were of delicious and served well. The Check in and Check out was Superb and to note that everyone was very friendly and courteous. The Pestana Hospitality is beyond excellence. We would come back for sure.

Hotel Viajante se găsește în Tarrafal, la 3 minute de mers pe jos de Tarrafal Beach și la 400 m de Plaja Mar di Baxu. Acest hotel de 3 stele oferă WiFi gratuit. Fiecare cameră oferă un patio. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect, right on the main square and 3 mins by foot from the beach. The rooms are actually way nicer than in the pictures. Very cute place. Nice buffet breakfast as well.

The hotel is pretty new (about 2 years old), modern and well designed. It was designed by Hamilton, the owner, who worked 19 years in France. Therefore he can speak french, which can be useful if you do not speak Portuguese or English. Hamilton is really nice and very helpful. He picked us up at Praia ship port, the way to Assomada, is about 40 mn. He also accepted that we keep a room later on the last day as our flight was late. One of his employee drove us to the airport (at a correct price). The hotel has a swimming pool ( cleaned daily), Wifi in the lounge (soon repeaters will be installed), electricity is by solar panels. The restaurant is really good! The rooms are huge, modern with all comfort. Showers with hot water and good pressure! Moreover, the biggest tree of Cabo Verde is at 10 mn by walking ( you see it from the terraces) and City center is only at 15 mn by walking. The staff is also very nice, the cleaning women do not stop! It is very family friendly.

Hotel Por Do Sol se găsește în Tarrafal, la 4 minute de mers pe jos de Tarrafal Beach, și oferă vedere la mare. It was very nice to eat the breakfast on the rooftop with an astonishing vue.

Set in Cidade Velha, around 1km from the city centre, Pousada Villa Concetta boasts a furnished terrace a sea view. Pousada Villa Concetta gives guests direct access to the sea. Kind host and in walking distance from the town. Clean and value for money.

Set in Tarrafal, Vista Mar features a terrace, bar, on-site dining, and free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Everything was perfect food costumer service location to relax next to the beach and very clean. 10/10

Located in Praia, 500 metres from Sucupira Market, Hotel Cesaria boasts a sun terrace and views of the city. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. close to airport, central location, amazing rooftop bar literally steps from our hotel suite.

Located in Praia, Quinta Da Montanha offers a restaurant. The apartment will provide you with a terrace. Featuring a bath, private bathroom also comes with a bidet and free toiletries. We had an amazing stay! Quinta da Montanha always feels like home. A piece of heaven on earth!

Chez Maria Julia Boutique Hotel se găsește în Praia, la 7 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Cova Figueira și la 1,1 km de Praia de Quebra Canela, și oferă o terasă și un bar. After 2 weeks on Santiago this is the only place I genuinely would recommend. First of all, the location. The famous Plateau is good only for a very short visit. This area is much nicer, safer, more relaxed. There are a lot of beautiful and colorful houses around, as well as many really nice restaurants / bars and the central beach (which is really good!) - all within 15 min walk max. The owner of the hotel really pays attention to every single detail. The staff is not just friendly, they are also very professional and truly understand what does it mean to work in HoReCa (which is rarely the case on Santiago unfortunately!) My stay was super comfortable and I appreciated that everyone was going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and relaxed. I was very touched when I didn’t feel too well and the owner made sure to constantly check on me and provide me with everything and anything needed. The restaurant and bar by the hotel are very nice as well, overall it felt like a very fair value for money and I wish I’d make this place my main base during my trip.
