We had the best time at Tuki Tuki, so much so we extended our stay twice! JP, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. When Mark, my husband wanted to try gyrocoptering, JP, immediately offered to take us the twenty minute ride to the airstrip, hang around and bring us back. He was always around but not intrusive. Three choices of breakfast were all delicious, made and served by the lovely Hazel. Town was about 1km from the lodge so we used the free bikes to get around everyday.

She also organized a trip for us to the Palo Verde National Park which we enjoyed a lot. It was great that she also had some soft top surf boards to rent. What was just amazing was the food and the fresh smoothies! We really loved the atmosphere of the hotel.

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions.
