First of all, I must say that the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff was very helpful leading up to the trip, answering all our questions via WhatsApp and even arranging transport from Santa Marta Airport to the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day and had both AC and a fan, along with plenty of fresh towels. The hotel staff was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times and always provided us with water from the fridge. Not to mention the gym, tours and the option of ice-baths. The breakfast served during our stay was absolutely delicious and satisfying. We were served with a variety of food items including fruit, eggs, and even pancakes on the second day. Coffee and fresh fruit juice were also included in the meal. Additionally, we booked a massage through the hotel and it turned out to be one of the best I've had in a long time, and the price was very reasonable. We were able to walk straight out of our room to the clean pool, which was maintained daily.

This is a wonderful place, located on a tranquil beach where it is possible to swim (no strong currents). The Managers are super friendly and service minded. The food is delicious. They have a Whats App group so you can order food or drinks to the beach, and get updated about events and possible excursions etc. The accommodation is clean and very nicely designed. There are a range of animals including a dog, two geese and two parrot chicks on the premises.

Amazing ambience of the place, spacious room, many areas to chill, especially pool area is really nice, everything has this asian zen vibe. Also they play calm and relaxing music through the day. Staff is friendly. They have 2 cute cats. The area is very calm, good place for a nice relaxing time.

Carlos provided us among the best customer service we have encountered in Colombia. He clearly cares about the space, customer satisfaction, and is looking to improve the resort year after year. The space itself is recently renovated and with a pleasant area that connects to the beach. We were there while the ocean was high and wild, so we didn't go swimming, but we've been told that seasonally it becomes much calmer. The room was large and well air-conditioned when we wanted it to be, and the spaces around the resort, though small, had a perfect getaway vibe.

Herman and staff were so welcoming. We are a large group of 14, we showed up with reservations for 12. No problem, he quickly added 2 extra beds and made us feel right at home. And, that's just it, the place is really comfortable and has several areas to hang out. Peaceful jazz and ragae, a wonderful vibe.

Hotel Casalina is located in Palomino, 4 km from the town´s center, the property features free WiFi access, and a daily complimentary breakfast including homemade bread and coffee from the Sierra... Everything was wonderful! The place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and quite.. perfect to relax and recharge your energies on a beautiful and basically private beach! Still you have good transportation if you wish to go to Palomino (5m) and have a bit more of movement and party. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable (I loved the open air WC) right in front of the beach. Food was delicious and all staff super friendly and paying attention to any needs. It was my favourite place in Colombia and I will definitely come back!! Thank you Casalina for the good energies 🍀
