The room has good lighting, clean hygiene, and reasonable prices. The hotel staff are also polite, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. The overall design is excellent, with a good geographical location and convenient transportation. I will recommend it to my friends.

(for the King room with balcony) - Splendid views (for rooms located on the 2d floor) - Super strong WIFI (can streamline movies) - Japanese toilet!!! (it's nice to have this warmth on your butt in the morning!) - Super friendly staff - Fabulous location right within the old town

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the suites with a private hot spring pool and it was wonderful! So nice to be able to come back after a day of sightseeing and just soak away. Staff thought the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful and courteous. Club lounge is lovely and well appointed. Location is peaceful - maybe not ideal if you’re looking to be in the city centre but if you’re after something more resort-like, this is a great option.

Been there, very much done
Not very much for the average Yunnan tourist, just another fairly large, chaotic chinese city. Go to the real sights (ie Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-la, the rice terasses, aso) directly instead, there are flights, trains and other transports to pretty much all of them.
