We also enjoyed spending a good chunk of time on the balcony. Reatsurant Krone across the street is working in tandem with the Lodge. They serve good food, also some vegetarian dishes. All in all a great place!

This Hotel City Weissenstein enjoys a peaceful location at the edge of the pedestrian zone of St. Gallen, close to the old town and the main railway station. Wi-Fi is available for free. 5 of us stayed here for one night on a football trip, 3 separate rooms. Hotel was fantastic, cannot fault anything! The beds are very comfy, location is great (5 min walk to train station), the breakfast was lovely and staff couldn’t be any more helpful.

Well maintained and clean. We had the large upstairs family room to sleep four. Cold at night, with large comforters. Views of the town and Swiss countryside are amazing. Cows and Cow Bell sounds are everywhere. Food in restaurant was very good.
