Room is very clean. And most important is the place of this hotel is near the interlaken west train station. Which is the most convenient hotel that I can save lot of time. And the people are very very nice and patience. I obviously enjoy a lot. I believe I will choose again for next time of traveling.I literally recommend !!

Situated right above Lake Brienz, the Hotel Brienzersee (Garni) offers superb views from the rooms and from the lakeside terrace, the Brienzersee hotel is only a 5-minute drive away from the centre of... It's a bit away from the Interlaken Ost but the bus runs every 30 minutes to take you to and from the train station. The hotel is very close to the bus stop and after you get off the bus, it's quite easy to find the hotel as well. The view from the balcony of the room was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Interlaken area.

Our room had a huge private terrace and the views were unbelievable. I heard clanging one morning we were there and was delighted to see cows parading through the street right below us! The bus stop is literally right across the street so super convenient. Ideal location as it is super walkable to shops and restaurants but not quite in the noisier heart of it all. The staff was kind and attentive and it was a huge bonus to have laundry available in the basement. The toiletries provided in the room smelled amazing. The restaurant was top notch, we dined there our first night. To end our stay, we got a lovely Swiss chocolate bar as we checked out :)

We arrived late in the evening and it was cloudy rainy day. We needed to wait a bit at the restaurant downstairs to check-in but when we finally could enter our room, we were amazed about how organized the room was. The bathroom and furniture were high quality and modern. The queen size bed and pillows were really comfortable and really clean. Also the balcony was really huge. But the most amazing moment was when we woke up in the next morning on a sunny day, we saw the mountains when we went to the balcony. Amazing view! The hostess was really kind. She gave information about the places we could visit based on our preferences, and helped us with all our questions. The breakfast was also great with enough choices.

The themed rooms boast generous space and lots of features that gave it great value for money. The host Dominic was outstanding. There was nothing too much for him. His service, breakfast of choice and complimentary drinks are all extraordinary. The location of the hotel features some of the most spectacular views of the lake below and the mountains. Simply outstanding.

Wengen is a good centre for walking in the Bernese Oberland, with a cable car giving easy access to the footpaths beneath the Eiger and Jungfrau. The almost complete absence of cars makes it particularly enjoyable. A Jungfrau pass, though expensive, makes getting around much easier and pays for itself if using a number of trains and cable cars (though extra has to be paid for the Jungfraujoch and some other routes). The town is charming, with wonderful views.

Interlarken itself has everything you need and is the best and only place to see the Bernese Oberland. I do have reservations about some of the restaurants that do not advertise their menus in any other language other than their own! Not English, German French or Italian. I stayed in Unterseen and was very glad to have chosen it. There is a village feel although you are only metres away from the Main Street of Interlaken. I bought a Bernese Oberland pass for 6 days and was able to hop on and off trains, boats busses and mountain railways. Both lakes are beautiful. There is a lovely walk along the river Aare between the two stations which passes the train up the Harder Kulm. From the top you can look down on the para gliders hovering over the town. Interlaken is simply a good base for so many reasons. Spiez castle is worth visiting. Thun not so much. The town is good though.

Great location for visiting all parts of Switzerland especially Bernese Oberland. Great variety of options for trips. Although touristy that has always been its purpose. Shops have become less interesting over the years. Highly recommended overall.

Wilderswil is convenient base for all the Bernese Oberland . We bought the Regional Pass and used it to the max. There are things to do more than you'll have time for. Plan wisely and you want definitely to go back. This was our 7th time in the area. P.S.Afternoon tea at Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel was nice.Book ahead!

Only a five minute walk to the railway station and bus stop and, with the free local transport ticket provided (also giving discounts at some local attractions), there was no need to use the car locally. All in all I with my family had an unforgettable experience and one of these days want to come back and visit again.
