We loved the concept of the hotel: while you can relax in modern, absolutely clean and functional rooms, you can also enjoy the company of the hosts or guests in the common rooms, e.g in the cosy restaurant, on the terrace or the fabulous chimney room. We also enjoyed a superb breakfast and an absolutely delicious menu for dinner. Bravo! We hope to see you again soon!

The hotel is very well located, it’s on the main street of the village, close to the waterfall and the rooms have beautiful views to the mountains. The breakfast buffet had many options and the stuff were very friendly. We did our check in with Adam who was very helpful, he gave us tips where to go and what to visit and he let us to leave our bags until check in time, but all the other receptionists Maria and Tristan were very helpful too. The Hotel has a “picnick” room which I found very thoughtful, it has tables where you can eat your meal that you brought with you, it had also a bar with a microwave and a kettle , basically a self serving kitchen. They also have a lounge area where you can have tea and coffe all day for free even while you wait to check in or if you checked out but you’re waiting for your train. Overall everything was great in this hotel we were very satisfied during our stay. Thank you 🤍

Our room had a huge private terrace and the views were unbelievable. I heard clanging one morning we were there and was delighted to see cows parading through the street right below us! The bus stop is literally right across the street so super convenient. Ideal location as it is super walkable to shops and restaurants but not quite in the noisier heart of it all. The staff was kind and attentive and it was a huge bonus to have laundry available in the basement. The toiletries provided in the room smelled amazing. The restaurant was top notch, we dined there our first night. To end our stay, we got a lovely Swiss chocolate bar as we checked out :)

The best part was the view of the waterfall and mountains. I had an incredible and unforgettable stay. This was one of my favorite hotels and places ever.

Hotelli Jardin on loistovalinta Bernissä, se on pieni, mutta todella viihtyisä ja hyvin hoidettu. Huoneet ovat isoja, omassani oli suuri aurinkoterassi. Hotellin työntekijät ovat todella ystävällisiä ja vieraanvaraisia. Aamiainen kuului hintaan, sekin oli vallan mainio. Hotelli on hiljaisessa Breitenrainissa, matka keskustaan kestää raitiovaunulla muutaman minuutin.

Keittiön vesihanasta tuli napin painalluksella kiehuvaa vettä. Keittiö oli hienosti integroitu TV:n taakse! Majoituksen yhteydessä saimme myös Bern-visit sovelluksen (kortin) ja se sisälsi mm. ilmaiset bussimatkat.

Olimme varanneet 3 huonetta ja huoneet vastasivat odotuksia. Järvenpuolen maisemat olivat suorastaan huikeat hotellin puiston ja järven yli lumihuippuisille vuorille. Olimme varanneet järvinäkymän ja saimme huoneen, josta oli näkymät kahteen suuntaan järvelle ja vuorille. Extraa oli se, että kylpyhuoneessa oli myös parveke ja näkymät. Hotellin puisto oli viehättävä suihkulähteineen ja upeine näkymineen. Puistossa oli myös aurinkoterassi. Tämä oli niin viihtyisä hotelli upeilla näkymillä, että haluan ehdottomasti joskus mennä sinne uudestaan. Aamiainen oli myös laadukas ja tunnelma oli rauhallinen.

The hotel is great, everything was perfect. The View is amazing 🤩 I willl post some special lake view videos on Google Maps. The stuff are so friendly and helpful. I would love to thank the manager Mr. Sebastian for his kindness, and Ms. Sibylle for her helping while we were staying at the hotel. I also need to express my deep expressions to Mr. Fernando who is one of the SPA stuff for his lovley dealing, Fernando is very friendly with the hotel guests.

The restaurant served amazing food.:-) We liked the Spa a lot:-) Our room in the main building was very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was delicious too:-) We went there in spring (There were not a lot of people). Thun Old Town is very close.:-) (15 min. by car)
