I loved the room with all its coziness and outdoor deck with blankies. I so appreciated all the comfort from the owners as well. I was grieving and they took their personal time to acknowledge that and comfort and pray for me. I shall be forever grateful. Thx ever so much.

Stephen’s Inn is for sure one of the most special places you could visit on Vancouver island: the view right out on to the water, having some sea lions say hello every now and then, watching the full moon rise over the hills… it’s such a magical view, that you can get both out of the super comfy bed and out of the bathing tub, that’s big enough for two. Stephen is a chef, creating breakfast that’s better than any food we tried on the island- with lots of nice seafood fresh out of the ocean. One day we took the kayaks that are free to use, travelled down the coast and watched the orcas blow their water fountains from a far. The detail and care Michelle and Stephen put in hosting their guests made us feel warmly welcomed, making it really hard to finally pack our bags and leave. We will for sure come back!

Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Pemba did her utmost to welcome us and make us feel at home. She cooked us a delicious, healthy gluten free porridge for breakfast and made us wonderful Indian food for supper, like prawn curry and butter chicken, as well as fresh local salmon. She gave us knowledgeable advise about the island, and a very special send-off the evening before we left. We felt very pampered! There are comfortable seating areas, inside and out, overlooking the bay. The hotel is not far from the pub, which has live local entertainment to join in on on Saturday night. A memorable experience.

Located in Port Hardy, 6 km from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, Port Hardy Cabins provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and barbecue facilities. It was very clean, well equipped with cooking facilities. Amenities and a cozy atmosphere. A little self in the bathroom on top of the sink would be handy. Thank you for having us!

Seine Boat Inn offers accommodation in Alert Bay, on Cormorant Island. A scenic ferry ride takes guests to the property. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. Yes, view, suite, location, host - all were great! Most highly recommended.

This Port McNeill accommodation is situated on 26 acres and features a Disc Golfing Course. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are provided. Lower Nimpkish River Provincial Park is 15 km away. Everything! Lisa is a great host - she gives you a card with her cell number when she welcomes you so you have the option to text her if you need anything. The cabin's bed and shower were luxurious; the kitchen was spotless, well laid out and well equipped; the space was perfectly designed for a couple with lovely little design touches. The bed is so comfortable we asked about the brand so we can look at purchasing one for home (Lisa answered promptly and said she gets that question from lots of guests). Some particular highlights are the covered deck with Adirondack-style chairs and glass panels to keep the view of the ocean; the BBQ; the tap water (cold and pure); the fridge with a separate compartment freezer; gas/propane burners in the kitchen; and the shelf system in the bedroom. Finally, the location is fantastic - you're close enough to town to make it a quick trip, but far enough away that you get serenaded by frogs if you're out in the evening (a rural treat).

A recently renovated holiday home located in Alert Bay, Alert Bay Sweet Home features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. very cute house with everything you need! the space was very cosy and the view was incredible, short walk down to the main area and close to the grocery store and restaurants. it’s a little home away from home and the host communication was prompt and friendly :)
