It is very expensive, but with the prices in Nassau, if you enjoy luxury and quiet, you are better off investing a bit more and staying here instead of noisy and busy resorts

Escape the ordinary at Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant, Nassau's landmark mansion. In busy, touristy, sometimes even artificial Nassau, this is the oasis you are looking for. I can't put my finger on it, but none of the photos, not even professional ones, pay this place justice. They tend to come out "granny-style". But the house is a gorgeous colonial-style building full of antiques and lovely details. It is like travelling back in time, in a good way. The huge, lush garden with the pool (yep, that pool with the blue, painted bottom) makes you forget the crowded, souvenir shops and the dusty roads in a second.

The location far away from the maddening crowds. Unique building, beautiful garden, amazing views, very helpful and gracious staff.

Apartment in downtown at the beach features accommodation within 1.5 km of the centre of Nassau, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. The proximity to the ocean, downtown, and all major tourist attractions was wonderful. There are lots or terrific places to eat nearby. Our hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful with information on where to go and how to get there.
