The breakfast is delicious, you can smell the fresh cake being made in the morning, there are always to new juice options, and delicious eggs, coffee and fruit. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I had one with a sea view, it was lovely! The staff is PHENOMENAL! Sebatstien and Helen and everyone were sooo helpful and sweet. It is really a little slice of paradise.

Set in Praia de Araçatiba, Mar da Lua provides an outdoor swimming pool. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge and a bar. What a fantastic place, peaceful and basic. Great to get away from life for a while. The owner is a great guy, super friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean and we spent all our time enjoying the island and the resorts outside terrace, lounges and hammocks.

The remote beach location is everything you can wish for if you need a good rest in a paradise-like location. Palmas beach was one of the nicest we've seen on this side of the island, with a restaurant in front of the accomodation which is part of the same family run business. The staff was super friendly and helpful, food delicious (even though you run out of new options after a few days of eating there the whole day), breakfast was superb, and daily room cleaning was included. The room and bathroom were spacious and nice, despite the lack of AC.
