A repeat stay for us in this sulphurous hot spring hotel. The outdoor pools (a hotter and a cooler one) are totally wonderful, open 08 am till 20-00, nicely done and with excellent hydrogen-sulphide-rich water. Good buffet breakfast and dinner, comfortable rooms with good wifi, convenient parking. Nice walks in the local pine forest if you cross the street and walk up from the hotel.

Spotless rooms and grounds. We wished we had planned to stay for longer.

Very nice town,with many pedestrianised areas. Kyustendil is the centre of cherry orchard of Bulgaria and had a festival weekend whilst we were there with stalls decorated in cherries and local citizens in national costume.No local car hire ,so if needed, rentals are from Sofia Airport.Plenty of reasonably priced taxis in town.Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose .

People try to do their best to have more visitors in their town. They have a good park, some historical places to visit, and a lot of cafes to sit in and to have a drink. It is easy to get around Kyustendil, evan if you need a taxi, bercause they are cheap enough. I ate in the hotel restaurant, because the food was perfect there, not only their breakfast. There are some spas, so you could have a bath there in the mineral water.

Kyustendil is a nice place in the winter for skiing but also in the summer and spring. We had nice mountain climbings and walks around the city. There are many good restaurants with excellent and cheap food to visit! Enjoy Kyustendil!

Brilliant absolutely loved it. Great cafes within short walking distance. Try Flora on Bulgaria Boulavard. There are parks close by and we were lucky enough to see traditional singing and dancing in the square. All the cafes we visited had menus either in English or had good pictures, great home cooked chips! But for a really great meal try the Ramira Hotel. Kyustendil has beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers with lots of lovely walks into pine forests, and in winter offers skiing.

Great nature! Hisarluka is a place to take a break from big city life, enjoy nature and relax. Visiting one of Kyustendil’s spa and welness hotels is definitely worth doing!
