Der Burgblick-Adults Only in Werfen is located 2 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen. It offers great views of Hohenwerfen Castle, which is just 500 metres away. Staying at Hotel Burgblick was a huge pleasure. The hotel is rebuilt from an old family house. It has amazing views of the Hohenwerfen Castle - both day and night. The rooms are clean and spacious and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was large. Chocolates were presented in the rooms. We were greeted upon arrival with a very fine glass of wine and a nice conversation with the owner. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming. The breakfast was one of the tastiest and freshest breakfasts of any we've experienced in our many travels. Highly highly recommended.

We were looking for a pet-friendly hotel near Salzburg to make a 1-night stop-over on our way to the South of Europe. For the selected dates this hotel was the only one offering reasonable price. Friendly staff. No problems to stay with pets (we were travelling with a dog). Free parking area with plenty of space. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was nice. No need to look for alternatives. Very clean rooms with new furniture. A huge advantage for families with children: hotel has an own playground to keep your kids busy and excited, while you are waiting for your food in restaurant. Internet connection was stable and reasonably fast.

There is plenty of routs for walking behind the hotel. Very close to skiing resorts such as Flachau,Annaberg,Gosao. We had a wonderful day trip to Hallstatt and wonderful lake Gosaosee. Good Wi-Fi,had to work for few days and connection was okay. We were lucky with snowy weather. In general had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend this place
