Staff were very friendly and helpful, it was nice to have a small selection of snack and beverage items (pop, choc and cuppa soups) we could purchase to take to our room when we arrived. They keep the property beautifully maintained and it's nice being a little way from the harbour where it's quieter yet so close to walk to restaurants and attractions. We also loved our little balcony.

We love to stay at family run motels and try to keep away from the “chains” whenever possible. The Grandview was a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and within a short walk of all restaurants and shops. It was also close to the ferry terminal for our morning trip across the Georgian Bay. The walking pathway to town had benches along the way to rest, if necessary, and we watched a lovely sunset from one of them.
