Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. The property exceeded our expectations by far. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the little cabins are very well maintained and inviting. We wish we could have stayed longer.

With Kruger Park Lodge Golf Club reachable in 10 km, Linvale Country Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. We booked this lodge by chance, hence our expectations were low. But what a gem it turned out to be! Entering the lodge through the macadamia groves you arrive at a green oasis. Large and well-maintained farm surrounded by old trees and blooming bushes. The next thing we were amazed by was the sounds! Like the best bird and insect orchestra. Complimenting these wild surroundings you get a cozy room with a comfortable bed and bathroom. The hosts – Charles and Mine – are simply awesome. Without them, this farm would be just a cozy place. But they made our stay special. From the very first moment when we entered the lodge, we felt that we were in caring hands. How passionate they are about everything they do! Prepping the food (definitely go for their traditional SA dinner), mindful suggestions about travel in the area, and unique information about the region. We felt how the love for Africa started raising in our hearts during our conversations. Finding the fresh flowers in the bathroom and being suggested the chair next to the fire in the evening – such small things made our stay unforgettable. We have only booked two nights and this is something we regret. Getting a few more days to stay would've been perfect. Just staying there doing nothing was already an experience. Located 13 km from Skukuza Indigenous Plants Nursery, Rixile Kruger Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Beautiful and relaxing in the bush but very near by a hotel were u can get all the facilities if you don’t want to cook, the place is amazing , design is to the small details

With Kruger Park Lodge Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Bushbaby Valley Lodge features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. “Bushbaby Valley Lodge” lovely location, was a little further than we though but worth the effort. We stayed 5 nights, and the staff were fantastic, accommodation was more than ample, clean, and tidy. Thoroughly recommend “Bushbaby Valley Lodge”. If you’re into activities or experiences, then there plenty locally. Thanks for a great time.

Situated in Skukuza, 10 km from Skukuza Indigenous Plants Nursery and 2 km from Skukuza Museum, Kruger Shalati - Train on The Bridge & Garden Suites features accommodation with free WiFi, air... Staff were superb, food and drinks delicious. Overall an excellent experience and we will stay longer on our next trip.

Located in Skukuza, Umkumbe Safari Lodge Riverside provides accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. This was our final stop in a 10 day trip around Kruger and the greater Kruger area and it was the absolute cherry on top of an amazing exploration. The location on the river is amazing and a dip in the pool looking out at passing wildlife is a true delight. What set this stay apart however was the game drives and our incredible guide Shannon. We were fortunate enough to be able.to see both wild dogs and in our final morning game drive two leopard cubs/eight months old. Shannon is one of the most knowledgeable and professional guides we have encountered in our travels around the world. Her capacity to find wildlife is remarkable and at the same time the respect she has for conservation.meant that we were able to see these rare creatures but without causing them stress. I would go back again in a heart beat and only wish we had been able to spend more time. Bed and room was comfortable. Food was plentiful and delicious.

Set in Wakkerstroom, Wetlands Game Lodge offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Fantastic all round. Lovely setting. Room was really lovely and luxurious. But most of all was the fantastic and lovely, friendly people working there from Fortune to the other restaurant people and fabulous chef who prepared really great vegetarian meals for me each evening. This was just a really brilliant place to stay.
