The welcome is fantastic and the meals delicious, plentiful and convenient. The quality of linen and towels is excellent. Being able to take a safari with Francois from the property to Addo and a private game reserve was very convenient and was the icing on the cake!

We are located on the safest routes to and from Addo Park, including leading up to the lodge. We are centrally located in Addo area between the Garden Route and R62, for those planning round trip back to, or coming from Outdshoorn. If you do travel from Port-Elizabeth, please drive via R75 to us. A very warm welcome in a place where you feel like home but better! Mike and his wife were very welcoming, kind, smiling and thanked them for the care taken during our stay. Special mention for the wonderful lunch prepared by Mike, we enjoyed it!

Bushman Sands Golf Course is 35 km from Ikwanitsha Lodge. The nearest airport is Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport, 85 km from the accommodation. Ingrid made our stay absolutely perfect!! We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

The lodge offers standard rooms in chalets with patio, shower and satellite TV. The more spacious suites have a seating area. Very comfortable, spacious, modern, clean and well equipped cottages. Beautiful gardens with antelopes roaming freely. Great location on the Addo main road and within close proximity to Addo National Park. Very good restaurant and bar at the property.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. family cottage is such a beautiful place in the bush. open spaces and huge windows to enjoy the sun and nighttime sounds. so tastefully decorated and really lived well. staff were so helpful

Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. Breathtaking, well-kept property with superb views from the Chalet. We had dinner and breakfast on the property which were also great. Even though we only spent one night there, we got a close sighting of the giraffes 🦒. We only wish we booked an extra night or two as one night is definitely not enough to fully enjoy all that this fantastic place has to offer. The staff were all lovey, friendly and really helpful. We would definitely go back!!

Located in Graaff-Reinet, Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve by NEWMARK provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The restaurant at the lodge serves African, American and South African cuisine. We stayed in Pod 1. We highly recommend the Pods for a truly unique experience. the lodge is beautiful but spending the night on the mountain is unmatchable. It’s a 40 minute drive from the Lodge to the Pods but it’s spectacular.

Offering panoramic views of the Zuurberg Mountain Range, Camp Figtree by The Oyster Collection features a variety of game drives, safaris and game walks. There is also an infinity pool and a restaurant.

The lodge offers game drives through Addo National Park, game walks on the property and guided sundowner walks. The view from the mountains is amazing. There is a nice pool and relaxing area. We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.
