Hosts were amazing, informative and really very helpful and absolutely ensured you got the very best from your stay; breakfasts excellent sitting on the terrace with stunning views and completely home made foods and the whole property is made over for the enjoyment of guests. It is a home from home and full of its own history with classic furniture.

Endless Summer Lodge offers idyllic beachfront accommodation in a historic 1870s villa. Guests can relax in the hammocks, or enjoy a walk along 90 Mile Beach. The room was beautiful and super clean. the kitchen, patio,view is amazing. And has everything that you need. The staff was super welcoming too.

Staying at Julianne’s and Richard’s place was just perfect. They are so kind and have great advice for activities in the area. The accomodation is well equipped and beautiful, the view above the landscape and ocean is just stunning - and you can enjoy sunsets in the hot tub. I would always come back, can definitely recommend.

Nestled on a ridge overlooking the vast Waipoua Forest, where iconic kauri trees have been living for 3,000 years, Waipoua Lodge offers luxury accommodation in an original homestead. Waipoua Lodge exceeded all our expectations. The website photos are good, yet don't quite do it justice. Not sure how one would capture this place in pictures. From the arrival greeting by Ann to the gourmet dinner prepared by Fiona, we were constantly impressed. The quality and cleanliness of the rooms were superb. We spent time after dinner in the jacuzzi, which was a welcome treat. Our only regret was just spending one night. It is a place to unwind and experience nature. There is also an extensive library and many many videos for additional entertainment. Everything was first class. The lodge guests were international - from Germany, Switzerland, France, and the U.S. Makes for interesting interchanges if desired. Tane Mahuta is a short drive away. Treat yourself and be sure to stay at Waipoura Lodge. It's a true delight.

Situated in a 100-year-old building, guests staying at this lodge can relax in the hot tub and then prepare a meal using the barbecue facilities provided. The breakfast was a good price, tasty and plentiful. The view was beautiful and the hosts friendly and helpful. It was quiet, clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Located along the historic banks of the Waitangi River, Te Awa Lodge is 10 minutes’ drive from the Paihia waterfront and major cruise operators. We had such a lovely stay with Martin, Whittaker en Coco. Only sad thing was we didn’t stay any longer. Could not recommend this accommodation enough.

Fabulous staff, incredible views!!! Just perfection there at “the top of the world” and then throw in golf….life does not get better!

Surrounded by native landscapes, Bay of Islands Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and great views over the Bay of Islands. Guests have access to a large terrace with a heated plunge pool. The views are beautiful and the hosts are amazing. Glennis and Dave made us feel so welcome and helped us re-arrange our plans when they were a bit overly ambitious. The breakfasts were delicious and the place is nicely decorated, comfortable and just fantastic. We felt like family the second we drove down the driveway and were greeted as we pulled up. A truly wonderful stay.
