Overlooking the Geiranger Fjord, Hole Hytter offers cottages and apartments with a well-equipped kitchen and a furnished terrace. Geiranger village centre is located 3 km away. The house has a fantastic view, located halfway up the mountain, where you can directly overlook the fjord. The fjord looks especially beautiful from a higher vantage point. The house itself is also very charming, with a grass-covered roof that adds to its unique character. It's not very large, and the rooms are relatively small, but the living room is comfortable, and the kitchen facilities are reasonably well-equipped. The staff were very helpful and provided us with lots of useful advice. The next morning, it was just over 3 kilometers, less than 10 minutes' drive to the ferry terminal by the seaside. We queued up to buy tickets and hopped on a scenic ferry to Hellesylt.

The mattress is foam and a bit stiff but comfortable. All the windows including the glass door have a blackout roller shade so you can sleep in. There's a double bed for adults and two bunk beds. The bathroom has a stand-up shower, a tiny sink and an incinerator toilet which is very interesting. I think they're planning on changing to a more traditional flush toilet. It's quiet and comfortable. The view is very nice, and the walk around the peninsula is outstanding. Relaxing. Excellent host, very friendly.

The communication was top-notch, and they even provided us with helpful local tips and recommendations, which made our trip even more enjoyable. As for the accommodation itself, it exceeded all expectations. The property was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful amenities that catered to our every need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the city.

Fossen Camping in Geiranger is idyllically located with spectacular views over the famous Geirangerfjord. Great location. Good host and very clean rooms. Kitchen had all the basic requirements. Beautiful view in the morning. Overall good value for money.
