The lodge is beautiful, set in the hills next to a rain forest. My room reminded me of log cabin but with a modern bath room. I loved sitting on my balcony with the beautiful landscaping of trees & flower plants. I would awake to see the sheep grazing on the hills. You can walk into a little forest to a running creek, very cool. All of the staff are wonderful, and the owner Ruben is great & very helpful letting me know all of the things to do in the area. And the breakfast & dinners are very good, they have an awesome chef. I will definitely be back to stay here again!!

This lodge is set in the Tirimbina Nature Reserve and 2 km from De la Virgen Park. It features free Wi-Fi, an extensive garden and a furnished terrace. The location is perfect, just about 60km away from San Jose. Rooms are situated in nature and it is possible to see different animals even around the room. Access to trails is really one of the best things. We recommend taking a night tour with a guide. You will not get disappointed. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There is a big bathroom with a hot shower. All very clean. It is the best place to stay if you want to get in touch with nature.
