The surrounding streets are more interesting than the market. A trendy area with some fascinating restaurants and cafes. Do take the time to make the short walk up the small hill to visit the Kuan Yin temple - this is a lovely place. We went there around 3pm plus. Alot of the eating places are already closed, not sure was it because of Covid, hence it was not open in the first place. Thankfully we still get to eat some local food within.
