Room was pretty organised and catered to our needs.

Breakfast was lovely, vegetarian option well pleasing.

Location is lovely and the breakfast was excellent.

Convenient location and only place to stay on canvey

The Oakland Hotel is a family-run budget hotel situated in the centre of the riverside town of South Woodham Ferrers, 15 miles from Southend-on-Sea.

Great value for the money and great breakfast included.

Nestled in Essex countryside, this hotel is set in 9 acres of garden and parkland in the village of Margaretting and is close to the A12 between Chelmsford and Brentwood.

I particularly loved the serenity of the location.
