Built in 1836, the bed and breakfast boasts antique furnishings and architecture along with free WiFi. This place is amazing. It’s so beautiful and the rooms are are nice and spacious. It’s a 5 minute walk to the town square. Our host Hillary was so lovely and made us amazing breakfast. We stayed in the frankly Scarlett suite and the shower was incredible. Best shower I’ve ever had. 100% will try and visit again

The Comfort Inn Blackshear Hwy 84 hotel is located in the historic downtown area. Local institutions and businesses like the Satilla Regional Medical Center, the Pierce County industrial park and the Gilman Paper Company are all minutes from this hotel. The hotel is located right on the central street of Blackshear and yet is very quiet and peaceful. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. Check in was very quick. You can even get dollars changed into quarters to use the washing machine1$ for detergent, 1.25$ for the washing machine. The breakfast room was large, clean and pleasant. Breakfast was great. The hotel room ( king size room) was large and clean. Perfect base location to explore the Okefenokee swamps. We would definitely come back again.

Our room was spacious with an adjacent bathroom, all very clean. All access information is provided online and access is by an entrance key. However, communication with the owner was easy and answers were provided very quickly. We’d like to come back!

The nearest airport is Asheville Regional Airport, 127 km from the inn. The room was cozy (two adults one child). The rooms are in small houses and have a porch and parking space directly a the door. There was quiet in wall air-conditioner, and a small kitchenette with a microwave and some dishes and a fridge. The owner was very friendly and told us lots about the area. He has obviously put lots of effort into the grounds which are very quaint and clean. I can highly recommend this place

Will stay again when next in Savannah.
