I had a long chat with a most charming woman(58) (did not get her name) in the reception. A former teacher. It is nice when staff takes the time to talk with you about the hotel and other things. It made my stay perfect! Just book this place!

The Red Lion is a Grade 2 listed stone-built coaching inn dating from 1748, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and well situated for Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Oxford and The Cotswolds. Red Lion Inn really made an impression on me. It was so incredibly cozy--my room was a tiny attic room, and yet I had everything I needed, and enjoyed snuggling up there. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinners even more, the latter when it got nice and lively at night by the fire. This place is everything you want an English countryside inn to be.

This 400 year old inn is located within just minutes walk from Warwick Castle and the historic Town Centre. Each of our bedrooms have recently been fully refurbished to offer modern facilities in historic surroundings. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean . Breakfast was lovely !
