With a great location just 1 km from the A34 and 1.5 km from Newbury town centre, the hotel has been refurbished to reflect its 17th-century heritage. There were lots of little touches and decor which makes it a special place to stay. Breakfast was lovely. A selection of fresh breads on the buffet table would make a difference and also fresh plates/glasses readily available for something different. The room was perfectly lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. We visit relatives in the area often.

Our room was lovely. We really appreciated the details and the style of the hotel. Very quiet and cozy. Great breakfast and food/drinks selection. We definitely recommend it. Set in the village of Winkfield in Berkshire, The Winning Post is Hart is a premium village inn serving locally sourced produce on its modern British menu and a selection of ales, fine wines, and... The location is great and the staff professional. The room is nice and clean, super comfy bed and really a fun experience! I enjoyed dining at the restaurant and they had delicious, good-sized portions!

The Windsor Trooper is an 18th century public house and inn, with 9 cosy rooms to welcome you. Very authentic place. Despite the fact that the windows overlooked the pub (which was mentioned in the reviews), this did not bother us at all. I've been traveling for over 20 years, but this is the first time when my room was upgraded. Many thanks to the hostess! (but the small room is also very cute)

The Bull Inn Pub features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and water sports facilities in the beautiful village of Stanford Dingley. The inn and the pub were absolutely delightful and the drive down from Oxford was beautiful. The vaulted ceiling in the room was a wonderful surprise!
