Located in Inveraray and within less than 1 km of Inveraray Castle, Brambles of Inveraray features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 4-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk. We loved our stay of 2 nights in the Garden suite! Simply amazing! When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

Very easy to find, great location for our plans, very comfortable and friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful, full of flavor, held us until dinner. GREAT, to go to Scotland ,and for 15 days, your hotel was actually 1 of only three hotels we stayed at that were owned and run and staffed by Scott's. All else felt as though we were in India,and their attitude towards guests , "ALL ABOUT THE MONEY" Sad to see your country,slipping Away,culturally. Won't be back.

The main hotel building is now under new ownership (previous owner holding onto Beach House rooms) Changes required to property description as follows: On the banks of Loch Lomond, this Traditional... Everything. Room was incredible, view was incredible. Clean room, clean hotel. Lovely staff!

Affacciato sul lago in mezzo alla natura,quindi ottimo. Il posto è molto suggestivo e curato nei dettagli. Staff gentile. Ristorante ok!. Camera piccola ma curata e con vista sul lago.Bagno spazioso.

Situata a Loch Awe, la Ben Cruachan Inn offre un giardino e una terrazza. La struttura ospita un bar e un ristorante di cucina locale. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the view off the deck extending from the self-contained apartments was amazing.

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... Cute room, clean bathroom and good food in the restaurant. We really liked the hosts. We stayed for one night.

Situated on the shores of the Kyles of Bute, Kames Hotel boasts original Edwardian features, home-cooked food and an extensive range of malt whiskies and local ales. Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast menu offered a wide selection of options and was cooked to perfection with wonderful ingredients. The hotel has a list of their food suppliers on display and this food provenance is reflected in the wonderful freshly cooked dinners we enjoyed. The main courses were all large portions and very satisfying. The bar had an excellent selection of scottish gins all well worth trying. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and very clean with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The hosts Irene and Scott are very friendly and made us very welcome.

Situato a pochi passi dalle rive del lago di Loch Melfort, il Cuilfail è una tradizionale locanda a conduzione familiare risalente al XIX secolo che offre un bar, un ristorante, un parcheggio gratuito... Enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal was superb. Small cosy bar with good selection of beer and whisky. Nice quiet location but not far from Oban. scenery was exceptional in this area. Would highly recommend this hotel.
