Forstay Motel is just 5 minutes' walk from the beachfront and 12 minutes' drive from Forster Tuncurry Golf Club. Newcastle Airport is a 2-hour drive away. The staff were really helpful with our situation. Due to unexpected circumstances we had to change our booking from 2 nights to 1 night last minute. The staff was accommodating to our request and we got our booking changed really smoothly.

We have: Shear Outback - the Australian Shearers Hall of Fame, Bishops Lodge Historical House & Heritage Rose Garden, Dunera Museum - Hays Internment of Prisoner War Camp Interpretive Centre, Sunset Viewing Area, Hay Golf Course, Hay War Memorial High School, Hay Court House, Bidgee Trail with Aboriginal Artwork painted below the Bridge. We have a fantastic Visitor Information Centre that is open 51/2 days a week, and they are only too happy to assist with any information about Hay, its heritage and surroundings. Very spacious room with lots of space to set suitcases and clothes. Modern design, very clean. The car is literally parked on the other side of the door, so easy to load/unload and safe. Staff was attentive, smiling and helpful. Pool is clean and easy to access. Many good restaurants within 5 minutes drive (note: they only open at 6PM)

Located opposite Lake Jindabyne, the lively Banjo Paterson Inn, Jindabyne's premium pub offers an on-site brewery, 2 bars, a restaurant and live entertainment. All accommodation features free WiFi access and a 50-inch SMART TV. The room was so spacious and cozy with a lovely view! The breakfast was honestly next level delicious with fresh, local options that were served nice and hot. It was also special being there just before Christmas time. The decor made it extra cozy.

The dorms and common areas were consistently tidy, and our bathrooms were spotless. The cleaning staff deserves commendation for their hard work in maintaining high hygiene standards. The view was amazing and staff was really friendly.

There was an awesome rock band playing the night I arrived so I went down to enjoy the music and the vibes were fantastic. I will definitely consider returning if I’m looking to stopover/overnight stay as I know that it is clean, safe, and friendly.
