Hotel was interesting, incredibly cosy and our room was sweet, bed was very comfortable. All the owners were helpful and super nice. Restaurant downstairs couldn't have been better, food was just so tasty. We would recommend this family run Austrian style place to anyone who are hoping to stay in Kössen area. We loved our stay in Gasthof Erzherzog Reiner.

Staff is very friendly, restaurant offfers ver good meals for reasonable prices. All in all, everything was perfect.

Room was exceptionally clean, love how spacious, cosy and romantic it was! The sauna, the view magnificent. The food was delicious - dinner and breakfast. Hosts are SO accomodating. A little note that we are from Australia, and don’t speak German but it didn’t matter as everyone was so lovely and accomodating (and Google translate helps). 100% recommend if you are wanting to stay in the area.

This is essentially a guesthouse on steroids. The family that’s running it is delightful right down to the boy who was bussing and setting up tables. Spotlessly clean, large room, great balcony and view.

The family run hotel has exceptional customer service. Elke, Michael, Peter are always there with a smile. Whatever you need or ask for they are always happy to accommodate with a smile. Doing everything for their guests seem to be their motto. They were more than happy to pick us up in the middle of the night. The staff in the restaurant and also the people they have employed for cleaning are super friendly and are very well trained to take care of the guests. Food is great in their restaurant, they have a fresh juice maker in the restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast comprises of eggs, bacon, sausages, different types of cheese, nicely chopped fruits, yogurt, various kinds of bread and a lot of other things. You can get a 4 course dinner at a very good price. Good wifi, Rooms are very clean, the Sauna is exceptionally clean. They have taken care of little things all around the hotel. The location at the top of the hill offers unrivalled views of the mountains. The chalet was very well equipped and the balcony made eating outside a delight. Fresh bread service, chocolates and bath robes add a touch of luxury I did not expect. The pool is lovely too. An exceptional, family run establishment.
