Our host’s garden added even more charm. In the morning, our breakfast included fresh apple juice from their own fruit, jams from their apricots, fresh tomatoes and herbs from the garden and other locally sourced treats. He could be more friendly and accommodating. Because our trip to Loosdorf was due to our car breaking down, after breakfast Rudolph drove us to the repair shop to pick up our car.

Krumbacherhof was practically closed due to the Austrian lockdown. The owner welcomed us and cooked a very nice dinner for us and kept the bar open for a few drinks. Very welcome, very good food.
