We stayed here as it was an easy distance from Ludlow Castle for a concert. The Talbot Hotel is a great place to stay,! Best brekkie I've had in a while. The host and staff are very lovely, I wish we had been able to stay longer!

Breakfast!!!!!!! Wicked. Superbly cooked, plenty on offer, and the granary toast - well just brilliant. Service through breakfast was excellent.

    On our arrival, we were greeted by the host, who made us feel most welcome. My husband had the Sunday roast dinner, which was amazing, excellent value for money, freshly cooked, and very big ! The breakfast in the morning, with a good choice, was also excellent. The extra biscuits were a bonus, too! Nothing was no trouble. We were shown to our room and also the fire exit. The room was very clean and warm.

    It's an old coaching inn with a limited amount that can be done to make it conform to newer standards. The rooms are on the small side but as comfortable as they could be given old sloping floors and tudor beams. Breakfast was fine, but teapots and pastries that do not come in plastic wrapping would be an improvement. Dinner menu was basic but well cooked.

    Location was good, room size was good. room was clean. Able to take are little dog who is recovery from a big operation. Nice car park and dog run. Nice to see local using ths bar. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Able to take dog into dinning area at rear.
